My Sketches and Drawings

"Red Lips"

 My inspiration for this piece was to try out my first attempt at drawing lips showing teeth as it is one of my weak spots. I also tried to add a bit of colour into it to make it look more realistic. This piece wouldn't have taken too long to draw, probably about 5-10 minutes. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B also a red colouring in pencil on original art paper.



"Baby Boy"

My inspiration for this piece was from a little boy I use to babysit daily. He was sleeping and I embraced the picture perfect image and decided to create a piece on it. He was an absolute joy to look after and as you can see in this picture, an absolute little cutie, This piece took about an hour or two. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B on original art paper.




"Bird"

My inspiration for this piece was from a photograph of a bird as a tattoo design. I wanted to try something different other than portraits. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B on original art paper. This piece would of taken between an hour or two.



"Winged Eye Girl"


This is one of my favourite pieces. My inspiration for it was from a photo I had seen of this girl. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B on original art paper. This piece took about two hours. I had spent a little longer on this piece as my sketching and hands had become alot steadier, As i practiced alot longer my skills started to develop into what they have become today.




"Thinking"


 My inspiration for this piece was yet another photo I had seen of this girl. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B, also charcoal on original art paper. First time using charcoal and I never realised how messy it could get. This piece would have taken me around two hours.



"Transgender"


My inspiration for this piece came from several things. I usually search the internet for ideas as I did for this piece except for the hair and neck. I love the eyes and lips of this piece, very bold. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B on original art paper. This piece took about two hours. 






"Rhianon"


My inspiration from this piece was from a photograph of an old friend of mine that had passed away in 2013, I drew this for her family as a gift. Rhianon and i had become very, very close over time and it was an absolute shock to the system when i found out about her passing. I wanted to do a tribute to her because she was such an amazing person to me. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B on original art paper. This piece took between 3-4 hours as I took my time to make it perfect.





"Eye #1" 

My inspiration from this piece was from a photograph of someones eye. Eyes are my favourite thing to draw, I love the way they are put together and all the small details. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B on original art paper. This piece only would of taken between half an hour to an hour.



"Eye #2"

My inspiration for this piece was of me taking a photograph of my eye and drawing it. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B and also added charcoal to the eyelashes and eyebrow on original art paper. This piece would of taken between half an hour to an hour.



"Rose Head"

My inspiration for this piece was yet another photo of a girl, I thought she was beautiful. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B also a red colouring in pencil for the roses on original art paper. This piece would of taken between an hour or two.





"Beanie Girl"

My inspiration for this piece was also a photograph of a girl. I like to draw random people plus people I know because of the different styles and shapes of their faces. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B on original art paper. This piece would of taken between an hour or two.





"Anchor"

My inspiration for this piece was for me to try something different. I used a black ball point pen on my wrist. It would have only taken me about 5-10 minutes. 


"Eye#3"


My inspiration from this piece came from my mind, I sometimes like to try my own styles. This is one of my favourite eyes I have drawn, I'm glad with the way it came out. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B on original art paper. This piece would have taken between half an hour to an hour.



"Owl"


My inspiration from this piece was from a photograph I had seen of a patterned owl, I wanted to try something different. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B on original art paper. This piece would have taken between half an hour to an hour.



"Coloured Eye"


My inspiration for this piece was that I wanted to try something different with some colour. I used premier Prismacolor. This would have taken half an hour each. 




"Portrait"

 My inspiration for this piece was just to try something different. I saw an eye tutorial and used it and drew the rest from my imagination. This is by far my favourite portrait. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B on original art paper. This piece would have taken between two to three hours. 




"Liam"

 This piece is of my nephew Liam. My inspiration for this piece was from a photograph I took of him without him knowing, the best kind of photos. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B on original art paper. This piece would of taken between hour or two.




"Taylor Swift"

My inspiration of this piece was from a photo of the famous singer, Taylor Swift. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B on original art paper. This piece took about two hours.



"Owl Sword"

My inspiration from this piece was from a photograph. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B on original art paper. This piece took about two hours.



"Phoenix"

My inspiration for this piece was from a photograph for a tattoo idea. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B on original art paper. This piece took around 2 to 3 hours.




"Rose"

My inspiration for this piece was that I wanted to expand my drawings, I got it from a photograph of a rose. I used Faber-Castell graphite sketch set including pencils from 2H to 6B on original art paper. This piece took between an hour or two.
